10 year

August 2008: Then & Now.

10 years ago Reachel (then Winters) signed her last yearbook and took a final lap around the circular halls of Brighton High School in Sandy, Utah. This August, Reachel and Andrew had the opportunity to attend her 10 year reunion. The Bagley's attended Andrew's reunion just a year earlier.

Both members of the couple would tell you, it's excruciatingly awkward for the non-alumni spouse. To help keep each other entertained, Reachel and Andrew exchanged intimate details into their High School life. The transcript follows:

Q: So what would you wear on an average day during high school?

A-Andrew: Cuffed dark blue jeans, a plain white tee-shirt, and converse. I was a bit of a rock-a-billy.

A-Reachel: A business suit. Usually one with a short skirt. And I carried around a plastic brief case instead of a back pack. I worked in a financial firm after school my senior year and spent my mornings at the Jordan district technical center perfecting my programming skills.

Q: What kind of crowd did you hang with?

A-Andrew: I still have the same friends now. The group I formed in high school hasn't changed in a decade. I also had a girlfriend, there was only one. And she was a petite brunette too.

A-Reachel: I didn't belong to one particular set. I'm a lifelong introvert, and I've never been a comfortable socialite. I typically kept my inner circle pretty intimate. I had two close girlfriends and rotated a new boyfriend in every 6 or 7 months.

Q: What was your favorite subject in school?

A-Andrew: Biology. I was a budding environmentalist even then.

A-Reachel: English. I loved writing a strong three point thesis paper.
